K-8 Schoolhouse: air handling unit being installed. framing and roof sheathing – 90% complete. (See the final truss being flown in, above, in preparation for final framing and sheathing.) Gym: Glulam* vertical components going in. Dorm: fire alarm inspection anticipated, followed by insulation and drywall.

K-8 Schoolhouse: after air handling unit is installed Friday, roof sheathing will be finalized. “dry-in” (enclosure from elements) will be completed, readying school for MEP installations. Gym: wall and roof framing begins. Dorm: finishes in the works (insulation/drywall/paint/flooring/cabinetry). Campus: installation of the water farm by end of January. permitting underway for natural gas main line extension. Glulam (aka Glued Laminated Timber) is a strong structural member created by laminating several smaller pieces of timber.  The gym’s superstructure (the bones) will utilize Glulam for visible vertical columns and beams in lieu of utilitarian steel, as seen in the design above.
