Gym demolition: building deconstructed and materials sorted for recycling. Key subcontractors approved, including roofing and metal siding (Pacific Sheet Metal, Carbondale); mechanical, electrical and plumbing (Climate Control Company, Glenwood Springs), and electrical (Durgin Electric, Carbondale). Topsoil stripping and stockpiling completed. Additional permits received: mobile classroom and foundation.
Sitework continues for parking lot and drop-off area. The State building permit review is nearly complete. The Design Team is reviewing and responding to the State’s comments. Subcontractors are submitting material samples for review and approval by the Design Advisory Group next month. Interior dorm demolition is taking place. LEED Gold application process continues.
